The first general public meeting
The first general public meeting was chaired by S.D.O. (Civil) Barpeta, Kamal Chandra Majumdar. This marked an important milestone in the institution's foundation.

The college commenced its academic journey with the Arts faculty.

The college received B++ accreditation through the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
